Wild Electronics in Norwegian Nature. I loved this one! Combining our skills and performing them in the bush, outside all practical facilities. :) We carried 600 kg of equipment by foot through muddy paths deep into the forest. Prepared for a dark forest experience with 500m strips 45,000 LEDs, 2000 meters of cables ++ Custom-designed light elements, wireless control, placed within the natural landscape. The lights and shadows transformed the landscape, revealing and concealing, opening the way for people to access a different side of the forest. At certain points it seemed as though the trolls and fairies were lurking around us in the shadows, checking out the action. The project, as part of a campaign for new Kvikk Lunsj Dark chocolate by Freia. Original Kvikk Lunsj has been a chocolate accompanying hikers and travelers in Norway since 1937. Now the hiking was left for nightfall. The darkness was transformed from an element that usually inhibits people from going outside into a space which people could experience the outdoors in an unfamiliar way. So the average Kvikk-Lunch loving hiker was invited into this space. A way to honor the darkness as well as the light, treading the electronically enchanted woodland paths. We got a prize for this one, Gold medal from "Gullblyanten" an annual competition for advertising work that distinguish itself in the advertising industry with creativity and innovation. I would say a bit "over its head" price given for this project, but we are in Norway, not much of this stuff happens here. =D
