Light costumes with wireless animation control. Custom made and tested to withstand freezing temperatures, snow and rough treatment from these competing athletes. One of my most exciting and most nerve-wracking jobs I have had. =D The variables of stuff that could go wrong were endless. Temperatures went as low as -26C, the snow fall at times was so thick so the suites on the athletes were frozen and then wet from their bodyheat, one of the athletes fell and slid across the snowy path, and a full camera team waiting to get their shot. But it worked out and it was quite a sight seeing these two skiers move through what was no doubt a winter wonderland. I used 5v led strips, with battery packs and wireless dmx antenna ranging 200 - 300m into the forest. Madmapper for sending dmx and Modul8 for the light animation. Produced for NRKs Biathlon World Championship Title Sequence.
