MNMT Festival, visual performance & stage layout

Monument Festival has a fantastic space for visual performance. Video art, custom lights and lasers. The first addition back in 2019 in Nesodden, we built the stage design and led installation to fit together. Continuing the years after developing the stage layout when the festival moved to Veggli. Building and integrating the tech to fit the forrest and area surrounding. Using Madmapper for custom led installations and lasers. And Resolume for video performance. I would say there is really nothing that beats performing in an outside environment, all the variables of weather, wind moving the smoke, so you are waiting to "grab" a cloud for a visual effect, or when the rain comes it sprinkles the lasers with crystals. :)

2024 / 2025 building projects.

Every year work in progress, to slowly get rid of truss and visible cable managements + have more surfaces and space for light installations. We dug down old tlf poles for pillars, 5 on each side of the dancefloor and linked them together with beams of wood. Planting climping plants that will integrate and grow on the structure. Now all cables run above the dancefloor and our setup got much cleaner blending better into natural surroundings.

Little did we know when drawing the stage that we would end up having to dig

a big hole for it to fit in, not to mention all the rocks we had to gather!!

But a happy sweaty gang enjoying the views when it all came together. :)
